SHERWOOD:  THE ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD    by Ken Ludwig    September 27 - October 6

Commissioned by The Old Globe, this fabulous rebirth of a old classic is packed with thrills, romance, laughs.  Audiences will recognize characters like Little John, Friar Tuck, Maid Marian, and Robin Hood, as they weave the timeless story of a people's hero who takes on the Powers that Be.

THE DRESSER     by Ronald Harwood     February 7 - 16

Based on the author's own experiences as dresser to Sir Donald Wolfit, this moving drama is an elegy to a by-gone era. Backstage at a theatre in the English provinces during World War II, Sir, the last of the great breed of English actor/managers, is in a bad state as his dresser tries valiantly to prepare him for another performance.

THE SENSUOUS SENATOR     by Michael Parker     April 17 - 26

Written by a British playwright in the style of a British farce, this piece is perfect for an American election year.  Meet Senator Douglas in his fashionable Washington townhouse.  While his wife is away, his house is swarming with libidinous politicians, scantily dressed women, security police, and a muckraking reporter from The National Intruder.  When Mrs. Douglas returns home, the bedlam crescendos to a surprise ending in this outrageous comedy.
